Southern Blues Spareribs

Recipe for the tastiest spareribs! Our all-time favorite!

Ingredients

For 4 people

2 kilos of spare ribs in this recipe we use the Baby Back Ribs
NOSKOS the Sparerib
1 Bottle Stockyard Southern Blues
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Butter

Additional supplies:
Basting brush
Aluminum foil
Smoke wood; apple or cherry always does well with pork

Preparation

1) Preheat the oven to 120 degrees
2) Remove the fleece from the spare ribs by making a start between the bones, at the edge of the fleece, with the back of a knife or fork. Then you pull the fleece away from the spare ribs.
3) Sprinkle the rub over the spare ribs and rub them well with the fingers.
4) Place the smoke wood on the coals, place the spare ribs indirectly on the barbecue or in the oven at a temperature of 120 degrees and cook for 2 hours.
5) Remove the spare ribs from the barbecue (or from the oven) and sprinkle some brown sugar and cubes over the spare ribs. Now wrap them in aluminum foil and put them back on the barbecue. Let them cook in the foil for 1 hour and 45 minutes, still at 120 degrees.
6) Remove the spare ribs from the barbecue and spread them with Southern Blues sauce. Please note, the spare ribs are hot!  Put them back on the barbecue so that the sauce can 'burn in' and cook the spare ribs, about 45 minutes.

Serve with Southern Blues sauce and coleslaw
