Fall-of-the-bone St. Louis Spareribs

Fall-of-the-bone St. Louis Spareribs
Sweet St. Louis-cut sparerib where the meat falls off your bone just like that

Ingredients

1 strand of St. Louis Ribs
6-8 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons brown caster sugar
Dust2Dust BBQ Rub of NOSKOS the Sparerib
Smokey Sweet BBQ sauce

Other supplies:
2-3 smoke chunks apple or cherry
Basting brush
Aluminum foil

Preparation

1: Remove the fleece from the sparerib and rub it on all sides with the rub.
2: Set up your BBQ for indirect heating and set it to about 110 degrees. Then add the chunks on the coals.
3: Place the ribs with the meat side up on the grid and leave for 2 to 2.5 hours. Remove the ribs from the BBQ.
4: Place the ribs on a piece of aluminum foil and spread the butter and brown sugar evenly over both sides of the ribs.
5: Now wrap the ribs completely with the foil and put them back on the BBQ for another 1 to 1.5 hours.
6: Then remove the ribs from the foil (note! this can be very hot so use gloves) and then put them back on the ear star. Spread the ribs with the BBQ sauce and leave for about 10 minutes. Then repeat this 1 or 2 more times until they are ready.
7: Let the rib rest for another 5 minutes before serving and serve with coleslaw and fries. Enjoy your meal!
