The chickens are given at least 81 days to reach their final weight. With 11 chickens per square meter, these chickens have plenty of space and are allowed to roam outdoors, with an outdoor area of 2 square meters per chicken. Furthermore, special requirements are placed on the animal feed, such as a minimum of 75% grains in the food. This has a favorable effect on the quality of the meat.
