The cutlets of the Livar pig are made from the fricandeau or ham. The lean steaks are then flatened according to traditional methods to get the typical schnitzel form. These patches are ideal to possibly provide with a herb crust of your choice and fit well with the weekday meal. These patches are specially cut for us by LIVAR, crushed and weight-packed and packaged.

How do I prepare a schnitzel?
You can eat the meat of the LIVAR pig perfectly naturally, it has a lot of taste of itself. You can also marinate it or season it to your own taste. Grill the schnitzel on both sides over high heat, golden brown to a core temperature of 65 degrees Celsius. Let rest for 5 minutes and enjoy your meal!
