Multi-Functional Lid

The lid features legs, allowing it to be used upside down as a skillet. Additionally, both the pan and lid have a small notch, enabling cooking moisture to escape if desired. If you want to retain all the juices, simply rotate the lid slightly to fully seal the pan.

Convenient Hanging System

The handle of the Dutch Oven has a bend in the middle, ensuring the pan remains stable when hanging from a chain and preventing the chain hook from slipping. This makes the pan ideal for use over an open fire.

Maintenance and Seasoning

To keep your Dutch Oven in top condition, regular seasoning is essential. Follow these steps:

  • Clean the pan with water and dish soap.
  • Heat the pan in the oven or on the barbecue (160-200°C) for at least 30 minutes.
  • Wipe the pan and lid clean with a cloth or paper towel.
  • Coat the pan and lid with Crisco, clarified butter, or rice oil and remove excess grease.
  • Heat again for one hour in the oven or on the barbecue.
  • Let the pan cool and remove any excess grease.
  • Repeat the last step once more for optimal seasoning.
