Making sausage is a craft, and what could be more fun than trying it yourself? This kit includes all the ingredients needed to make your own delicious sausage. The spices and meat are standard, and you can tailor the sausage to your own tastes. Search the internet for your own favorite recipe! This kit includes:
- 1 x Grill Sausage Kit from van Beekum Spices (spices, salt, twine, and artificial casings)
- Heyde Hoeve sausage meat
- Heyde Hoeve jowl bacon
You determine the quantities and the ratio of meat to fat yourself. We have cut the meat so that, with a ratio of 70% meat to 30% fat, you will need about 1000 grams of each. The meat is not yet sliced or ground, and you will need to do this yourself. Use a meat grinder or just chop it very finely by hand. A meat grinder is much easier, trust us!
