Cooking Steak
How do you cook a steak? A question that has been asked many times. Cooking steak is actually very simple.
The most important thing is that the meat reaches the correct core temperature, so make sure to use a meat thermometer! Grill or fry the steak in some butter (or a combination of butter and olive oil) on high heat.
For a steak of average thickness, start by cooking the first side for 3 minutes. Then flip the steak and cook the other side for 2.5 to 3 minutes.
Check the core temperature. If it’s 47-50 degrees Celsius, remove the steak from the pan and cover it to rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
If the core temperature has not yet been reached, leave the steak in the pan until it does. Then remove the steak. Enjoy your meal!
