Improved Airflow

The charcoal basket is perfect for removing charcoal remnants from your Kamado and refilling with fresh charcoal. By using the basket in your Kamado, you create a stable airflow around your charcoal, which helps maintain a more stable temperature and reach higher temperatures faster.

Efficient Cleaning and Refilling

The charcoal basket requires less maintenance and ensures a more efficient use of charcoal. Cleaning is simple: remove the basket from the Kamado, dump the ash remnants above the trash bin, and place the basket back. Refilling is also easy; shake the basket to remove ash between the charcoal, place it back in the Kamado, and top up with fresh charcoal.

Create Temperature Zones

The charcoal basket comes with a convenient removable divider that allows you to create two temperature zones for both direct and indirect grilling. This also makes it possible, for example, to bake potatoes. Light the charcoal on one side and place potatoes on the other side (without charcoal) to cook them gently with the heat.
