Lean Fillet Steaks
Fillet steaks are cut from the fillet, or the entrecote of the pig. The back with the fillet is boned and the lean meat with a nice bacon edge is portioned in beautiful steaks. These patches are ideal for marinating or seasoning to your own taste and go well with the weekday meal. The meat is somewhat leaner than the attorney steak. These patches are specially cut for us by LIVAR by weight and packaged.

How do I prepare a filet steak?
You can eat the meat of the LIVAR pig perfectly naturally, it has a lot of taste of itself. You can also marinate it or season it to your own taste. Grill the fillet steak on both sides well brown and let it simmer over low heat to a core temperature of 67 degrees Celsius. Let rest for 5 minutes and enjoy your meal!
