We developed this product to maximize umami using the base tones of bacon, red miso, and soy sauce powder. The sweetness of honey powder and coconut sugar provides a huge depth of flavor that will enhance pork and chicken and make you drool for more.
We've maintained a golden color and did not use paprika here, so you can mix and blend with, for example, Sweet Bones & Butts or Feather Duster.
Fools Gold will take our pork and chicken rubs to the next level with an undercoat of umami like no other. You can use this rub alone to let the smoke of your BBQ work for you and give the natural smoke color of a great bbq.
