To avoid burning the bottom, it’s best to place the pizza stone on a platesetter. Sprinkle the stone with flour or polenta to prevent sticking.
Once the barbecue reaches the right temperature, place the pizza on the stone using a pizza peel. Close the lid and bake the pizza for 5 to 10 minutes.
