The Iberico pig is a breed of pig from the Mediterranean region. Iberico pigs are true epicureans. They roam around all day and indulge in acorns. The slopes are at least 45% steep, which enhances the flavor of the fat tissue. Spain is proud of its Iberico pigs. The Spanish government strictly ensures that the welfare of the pigs is guaranteed. As a result, Iberico pigs experience little to no stress. This also greatly contributes to the flavor. In short, great for both humans and animals!
