Irish Beef
Beef from Ireland is known for its robust, rich flavor. Irish pastures are abundant with a wide variety of grasses and herbs.
The cows graze for the majority of the year, which gives the beef its characteristic taste that makes Irish beef so delicious.
The fact that these cattle eat almost exclusively grass is also reflected in the color of the meat, a beautiful dark red. A product for enthusiasts, but especially by enthusiasts.
The Tri-Tip
The tri-tip, or sirloin tip, is known in the Netherlands as "Ezel" (Donkey). This might be because the shape of the meat resembles the shape of a donkey's ears.
Another theory is that the preparation is so easy that any "donkey" could do it. This also explains the other name sometimes given to it: "The Newlyweds’ Cut".
A newly married couple was traditionally given this cut by the butcher because they would be cooking for the first time. And this cut was practically foolproof.
Preparing a Tri-Tip
The tri-tip, or sirloin tip, is incredibly flavorful. Pitmaster X calls it his new favorite cut of meat. Watch the video below:
