The turkeys are raised in a natural and animal-friendly way by our Dutch supplier in Heythuyzen. They grow up with plenty of peace and space. When the chicks are 5 weeks old, they are allowed outside. After that, they are moved to free-range pastures. There, the birds have half a hectare at their disposal, where they can freely roam in forests, orchards, and bushes. This gives the birds not only more fresh air and space but also more exercise. Additionally, KellyBronze turkeys lay eggs only 10 weeks a year, following their natural breeding cycle. This way, the KellyBronze turkeys can grow up in a relaxed environment.

UNIQUE TASTE EXPERIENCE

The turkeys are fed exclusively natural grain-based food. For every kilo they gain, the birds consume 30% more feed than a modern commercial turkey. In the end, the turkeys are hand-plucked and aged.  All of this results in a tender piece of meat with a fine texture.
