Spicy tournedos with crushed pepper, allspice and chili beans.
Ingredients
- 4 Tournedos
- 1 EL Peppercorns
- Allspice
- 3 EL Olive oil
- Salt
- 3 Tomatoes
- 1 Can chili beans
- 2 Cloves Garlic
Preparation
- 1. Crush the pepper and allspice in a mortar.
- 2. Sprinkle on a plate and place the steaks in it. Press firmly.
- 3. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan.
- 4. Sear the tournedos for a minute on each side. Reduce heat and cook for two to four minutes on each side.
- 5. Season the tournedos with salt and remove them from the pan. Wrap them in aluminum foil.
- 6. Blanch, peel, and remove the seeds from the tomatoes. Then cut them into small cubes.
- 7. Wash and remove the seeds from the bell pepper. Then cut it into thin rings.
- 8. Peel garlic and dice finely.
- 9. Heat the remaining oil in a pan. Fry the garlic and add the tomatoes and chili beans. Heat for about 15 minutes.
- 10. Place steaks on preheated plates and serve with chili beans.
