The word ‘santoku’ means ‘three virtues,’ referring to the three cutting functions of the knife: fine chopping, slicing, and dicing. This versatility makes it an all-rounder in the kitchen. The Forged Sebra knives are made from Japanese 440C steel with a hardness of 58 Rockwell. All Forged knives are hand-forged, making each piece unique. The knives have a blade thickness of 2 mm and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. The 14 cm Sebra Santoku knife is packaged in a luxurious wooden box and comes with a 10-year warranty.
