About this product
ABOUT THE WINERY: Château Montlabert is a beautiful country house from the 18th century. It is located in a beautiful park with centuries-old trees. There is also an old hunting lodge on the site that now serves as a guesthouse. The domain is located on the road from Saint-Emilion in the direction of Libourne, a few hundred meters from big names from Saint-Emilion such as Cheval Blanc, Figeac and Clos des Jacobins.
VINEYARD AND REGION: Château Montlabert has 12.5 hectares of vineyards, with a great terroir. The largest part is planted with merlot, supplemented with 20% cabernet franc. The purchase of Château Montlabert in 2009 was the icing on the cake for the Castel family of their now 1,000 hectare vineyard estate. Castel thus acquired an absolute top domain.
VINIFICATION: The wine is aged in oak barrels.

ALCOHOL: 14.5%
YEAR: 2019
CLOSING: Cork
ODOR: Aromas of black fruit and mahogany on the nose.
