The Sourdough Pinsa Romana is made according to an authentic Italian recipe with wheat flour, water, rice flour, rice semolina, durum wheat semolina, sourdough, sea salt, and extra virgin olive oil. It also undergoes a 72-hour fermentation process.
Thanks to this composition and the preservation of the authentic process, the Sourdough Pinsa Romana base is easily digestible and provides a fun alternative to the "classic" pizza base. The pinsas can be quickly baked either topped or plain and can be used both as an appetizer or a main dish.
