Beef tenderloin with gorgonzola

A nice combination for a surprise dinner.
Ingredients
- 750g Carrots
- Salt
- 600g Tenderloin
- 2 EL Olive oil
- Pepper
- 250g Whipped cream
- 100g Gorgonzola
- 20g Butter / margarine
- 1/2 Twig Parsley
Preparation
- 1. Peel the carrots. Wash thoroughly under running cold water.
- 2. Cook the carrots in boiling salted water for 10-15 minutes.
- 3. Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper and cut into slices.
- 4. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
- 5. Fry the fillets in batches 3-5 minutes on both sides.
- 6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 7. Deglaceren with whipped cream. Mix the cheese cubes and cream together with the gorgonzola sauce.
- 8. Heat fat in a pan and add the Carrots.
- 9. Chop the parsley leaves and save some for garnish.
- 10. Slices of beef tenderloin served with carrots and some sauce on warm plates. If desired, garnish with parsley.
