Boeuf Stroganoff

Boeuf Stroganoff

A traditional and widely praised dish. Delicious and easy to make at home.

Ingredients


  • 1000 grams of thinly sliced beef steak
  • 65 grams of flour
  • 5 grams of paprika powder
  • 3 grams of pepper
  • 45 grams of butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 300 ml clear beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon of mustard
  • 45 ml of chili sauce
  • 1 punnet of mushrooms, sliced
  • 500 ml of sour cream
  • A few sprigs of finely chopped parsley for garnish
  • Cooked noodles or rice
  • Add sea salt to taste
  • Add freshly ground black pepper to taste

Preparation


  • 1. Take a large bowl, add the flour, paprika powder, pepper, salt, and beef steak.
  • 2. Cover tightly and shake well until everything is thoroughly mixed.
  • 3. Remove the beef steak and sear it in batches in a large skillet with butter over high heat.
  • 4. Cover and set aside to keep warm.
  • 5. In the skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  • 6. Add the beef steak back in and pour in the broth, mustard, chili sauce, and mushrooms, cover with a lid, and let simmer for an hour.
  • 7. Just before serving, stir in the sour cream and increase the flame slightly. Do not let it boil!
  • 8. Serve with noodles or rice and garnish with some chopped parsley.
