Fillet Steak with baked beans

Spicy tournedos with crushed pepper, allspice and chili beans.

  • 1. Crush the pepper and allspice in a mortar.
  • 2. Sprinkle on a plate and place the steaks in it. Press firmly.
  • 3. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan.
  • 4. Sear the tournedos for a minute on each side. Reduce heat and cook for two to four minutes on each side.
  • 5. Season the tournedos with salt and remove them from the pan. Wrap them in aluminum foil.
  • 6. Blanch, peel, and remove the seeds from the tomatoes. Then cut them into small cubes.
  • 7. Wash and remove the seeds from the bell pepper. Then cut it into thin rings.
  • 8. Peel garlic and dice finely.
  • 9. Heat the remaining oil in a pan. Fry the garlic and add the tomatoes and chili beans. Heat for about 15 minutes.
  • 10. Place steaks on preheated plates and serve with chili beans.
